Fun Fact Friday

Welcome to my first week of Fun Fact Friday! I though it'd be a fun way for you to get to know me and a way to share things in my life other than my favorite recipes. I'll be sharing things I have been up to during the week, often using Instagram pics, along with other things I am loving lately. I hope you enjoy!

 1. I saved up the last few months to buy a Silhouette Cameo and I am just loving it! This is one of my latest projects I made for a friend. It was simple and quick. I just bought a wood block from Hobby Lobby. With a coupon it's only a couple of dollars. Then I painted it black. And cut out white vinyl. I love the font I chose. It is called Rockwell Extra Bold.

2. I never realized there are so many fonts! My sister-in-law introduced me to my favorite website for downloading fonts a couple years ago... fontspace.com. It's amazing and free. I love using it for new projects to get the perfect font.

3. My cute baby Asher got a haircut! First of all, I guess he's not a baby anymore but he is my baby! He turns 18 months next week. This was his first haircut. It was bittersweet. He had the prettiest curls but he was getting too hot so it was time for a trim. He looks like such a big boy now!

4. My son Levi (he turns 4 is a couple of weeks) loves mini-golf! We seriously go every week and it's his favorite thing!  He is such a cutie!

5. Mother's day was so fun this year. I just love my 2 boys. And my mom is the best mom I could ever have. She loves missionaries so I made her this framed quote and she loved it!

6. I froze some more cookie dough this week. As you may know I am obsessed with my favorite cookie recipe, Thick & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love keeping frozen cookie dough in the freezer. It's perfect for a last minute treat for a party or unexpected guests etc. Here is how you freeze cookie dough.
