Fun Fact Friday

It's Friday! Yay!  I hope you have all had a great week!  It's time for Fun Fact Friday....

1. Did you see my recent post of Dark Chocolate Ice Cream? You've got to try it! It's amazing. And if you don't have an ice cream maker you should totally get one! I've had a few people ask me what type of ice cream maker I have.

I own this little gem, Cuisinart 2 qt ice cream maker. One of the best kitchen products I own. I just keep the bowl in the freezer until I need it, add my ice cream mixture and churn for about 25 minutes! Simple and so fun!  I also recommend the Cuisinart 1.5 quart. It's basically the same thing just a little smaller and cheaper. I have found that buying it at Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% coupon is the best deal. It's so fun to make my own ice cream. You can be so creative and make up any type of ice cream you can dream of! It's also super simple to make your own homemade ice cream or sorbet. And of course beyond delicious! 2. My beautiful and awesome sister-in-law graduated from high school this week! It was fun to be at her graduation since 10 years ago I graduated from the same high school! Crazy how much has happened in the last 10 years. I made her a recipe book with all my favorite recipes which include some from her mom. I kept them simple and easy so she will have some yummier and healthier options than Ramen! lol

3. We have passes to the Living Planet Aquarium. My kids love it there so we try to go often. Asher loves the big fishies and Levi especially loves the Otter's. They are working on a big new building opening this December which is going to be so awesome!
