Mickey Mouse Party

Levi had a very fun Mickey Mouse birthday party! He loved it! To prepare I searched the Internet for lots of ideas. I found a lot of fun ideas and I'll share a few links on the bottom of this post. Most of the Mickey Mouse parties I came across looked like they took weeks to plan and that lots of money was spent. I didn't want to spend forever planning this party or tons of money (that I don't have) so I opted to keep it simple.  I think it turned out great and most important Levi loved it. He loved that it was a Mickey Mouse party and he still talks about it! Here are some things I did...

Invitations:

I made these adorable Mickey Mouse invitations. The tutorial can be found here.

Food:

First we ate dinner. We had hot dogs (of course,) pasta salad, chips and fruit. It was perfect.

Games:

All About Levi- This was everyone's favorite game!  We had 10 questions about Levi to see who knew the most about him. Of course this game works best with family or close friends but it was fun for everyone to learn more about Levi.

Pin the Ears on Mickey- This was so fun too!  I just printed out this Mickey from this link, then I printed it again in black and white and fast draft (to save on ink) on white cardstock. I cut out the ears then I traced it on black cardstock until I had as many ears as I needed then I cut those out. At the party we had everyone write their name down on the ears and tape the back then each person was blindfolded. We had a prize for the 2 closest. It was so fun!

Mickey Mouse Bingo- Derek made the Bingo Board on MS Word.  To save on ink we just bought Mickey Mouse stickers from the Dollar Store and had everyone put them in whatever square they wanted to. To play we had cut out each sticker and just picked one out of a little bowl each time.

To cover the stickers we used red and black dots. This is my cute baby Asher with them! With the scraps from making the Mickey invitations and Mickey ears I didn't waste a thing and used my 1 inch circle cutter and cut out tons of red and black dots.  We used them for Bingo and to decorate the table.

Cake:
Then we had cake! I made this cute Mickey Mouse cake. It's pretty simple to do. This is how I did it.

Happy 3rd birthday Levi!

My cute little guy.

Levi loved opening up presents.

He loved his BYU shirt from Asher!

It was a wonderful and very fun party. I'm so glad that Levi love it!
