Fun Fact Friday

I can't believe it's Friday! This week has been so busy and gone by so fast. 

1. This week was an awesome one for us! Derek got LASIK! You have no idea how much he has been wanting this. We've been saving up for a long time now. He found an amazing deal on City Deals. This was a big blessing for us!  The doctor who did Derek's surgery (Dr. Wapner) is so amazing. He wanted to give more people the opportunity to have LASIK so that's why they are offering it for a good deal.

I got to watch Derek have his surgery done. It was really neat. And the best part? His vision is 20/20 now! No more glasses! He is so happy!

2. Last weekend I spent 3 days helping my brother and sister-in-law organize their Etsy shop, Heads Up Designs. They sell super cute baby and kids shirts.  I really enjoyed it. I labeled the shelves for the shirts, cut a lot of vinyl and much more.

3. Do you remember this delicious recipe? I made it to enter into Cookies & Cups and Confession of a Cookbook Queen's Get Creative Contest and I got 2nd place!! I was beyond thrilled! I love creating new recipes and it's nice to get noticed for it!  And the best part? I won a blender! Guess who's been needing a blender for years!? Me! I've just been using my food processor which mostly works but is not the same. I am so excited!
