I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Last week Ticklebug Photography took some newborn pictures for us. She did an amazing job! I love this picture of our family. The first year we were married we bought stockings at Bed, Bath and Beyond with our initials on it, "B" & "D". Then the next year we had Levi and so we bought him a "L" stocking. Then last year I realized that if we had a boy next that would be an "A"- Asher. We already had the name picked out. B-L-A-D! That's our last name. How funny is that? As you know we did have a boy and so now our stockings spell out our last name. I love it!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I love this time of year! I'm so excited for Christmas Eve and Christmas. It's so fun to be with family and enjoy our family traditions. My favorite tradition is one Derek and I started the first Christmas we were married. We have our amazing Cheese Fondue on Christmas Eve. We worked hard to find the perfect recipe and we finally did!
I love this picture of my sweet baby Asher. We love having him around! Levi loves being a big brother too. It's fun having a little tiny baby this time of year. It reminds me of baby Jesus. There is always so much going on this time of year it's important to remember the real reason we are celebrating Christmas. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives and loves us. He gives us purpose to our lives and fills our life with joy. We have been reading scriptures each night to remember His life and also watching videos of his birth and life. I love these videos because it brings the scriptures to life. Click here to watch.
