I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We had a lovely Christmas. I love Christmas! And now it's already time for a new year. 2012! I'm excited. This has been a wonderful year for us with a lot of changes. My husband graduated from college the end of last year and started a full-time job, we bought our first home and added another cute boy to our family! I've also enjoyed cooking and baking and sharing my favorite recipes with you. Here are the top 10 most popular posts from this year.
These cupcakes were so fun to make! I made them for a BYU football party and they were a hit. They not only taste really good but they are super cool looking.
This is a super fun and super easy way to decorate treats for Christmas. Also, using this recipe you can cut brownies into any shape you want and change the frosting to any color you want. The ideas of what you can do are endless! Plus these taste so good. I love the chocolate + buttercream. Yum!
I get the most comments about this recipe. A lot of you have tried these taquitos and told me how much you love it. I always keep plenty of these in my freezer for a quick dinner or lunch for Derek to take to work.
7. Burritos
I came up with this recipe with the idea of freezing them in mind but it's also perfect for lunch or dinner. The flavor packed in these burritos is amazing!
These were one of my favorite things I made all year. They look absolutely amazing and taste so good. I love these Halloween Cake Balls!
These cookies are so amazing! Of all my dessert recipes I get the most comments on these and how much people love them. They taste so good with a soft gooey chocolate center and powdered sugar all over the outside and they look so fun!
I also get a lot of comments on this recipe. I think this is one of the best things I have ever made! Everytime I make it I can not believe how good it is. And I love that it's a healthier version of a not so healthy dish- fried buffalo wings.
These cake balls are such a fun way to announce the gender of a baby. I did this back in July to announce that our baby was a boy! I'm so glad he is here now.
This is by far my favorite appetizer! I'm so glad I finally started to like pickles a couple years ago. And the best part is there are only 3 ingredients- ham, cream cheese and pickles. You can't mess this up. This is perfect for any party.
This is the most popular recipe by far on my blog. Who doesn't love a quick and tasty dinner? I've been eating these all my life since my mom made these all the time when I was younger and now I make them all the time. These are especially good using the tortillas they sell at the grocery store that you cook up at home.
