My Favorite Recipes of 2011

I love all the recipes on my blog but I certainly have my favorite!  These aren't all from this year since I started this blog in October 2010.  I had a hard time choosing my favorite so I ended up picking my top 12.  I have made most of these recipes many times and they are ones that my friends and family love as well.  I get so excited when I make something amazing and I look forward to discovering more amazing recipes in 2012 and sharing them with you all. I hope you all have a happy New Year!

This is my favorite thing by far I have made this year. This was a huge hit this Thanksgiving and I can't wait to try it again. mmm!

I've been making this quiche for years now. We love it!

This is a much healthier version of Buckeyes. I am proud of these because I came up with the recipe!  Derek's family are crazy over these.

After discovering vanilla bean paste last year I was excited to try out this frosting. Since then I've made it many times. Everyone begs to lick the bowl the frosting was made in.

You can't go wrong with a recipe that says super soft and buttercream! I love these!

I've seen this recipe on just about every food blog I look at and for good reason. These cookies are the best I've ever had!  I always keep plenty of this cookie dough in my freezer.

The recipe is pretty much in the name.  This is my favorite smoothie ever and is much cheaper than buying a smoothie.

Eat this after it's been in the fridge for a couple of hours and you will be amazed!

This is one of the easiest recipes on my blog. Make sure you don't make it just for yourself; they are dangerously tempting!

These are so quick to make and I love having them in the fridge for a quick snack.

I finally made lasagna for the first time this year. Derek loved it and he knows a good lasagna when he has it. His favorite food is lasagna and he spent 2 years in Italy on a LDS mission.

Using Alton Brown's taco seasoning you will not believe how you can step up your taco meat in flavor!  I also use this basic recipe to make my burritos, taco salad and more.
