Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce

I love Olive Garden! And I don't know anyone who doesn't. But you know what? There are 2 things I don't like about Olive Garden. First, the long wait. I've waited up to an hour and a half just to be seated!  And the second thing I don't like is their prices.  But I certainly love their food. One of my favorite dishes is their Alfredo Pasta.  My sister-in-law loves Olive Garden so when we had her and my brother over for dinner we made this for dinner. I've made a few times before and it's always so good. Everyone just loved it!

This sauce is so good! It's so creamy and tastes so amazing! And the best part is how simple it is to make. And now I can save myself a trip to Olive Garden and honestly I like this even better!

Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce
Slightly adapted from Secret Restaurant Recipes
Ingredients:
1 pint heavy cream
1 stick of butter
2 Tbsp. cream cheese
1/2 cup (to 3/4 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
In a saucepan combine heavy cream, butter and cream cheese. Simmer until all is melted and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and salt. Simmer for 15-20 minutes on low.  Season with ground pepper.

Serve with about 3/4 pound pasta.

  1. Mmm that sounds so good! I'm going to have to try it! I like that it is simple ingredients. Some Alfredo recipes have things I don't usually have and they have never turned out great. I'm so excited for this one!

  2. My husband will love this! We both don't really care for Olive Garden generally, but he loves a good Alfredo sauce.
