I love smoothies and would have a Jamba Juice everyday if it wasn't so far away but really if it was free. So the next best thing, or even better is to make your own smoothies! It's so simple and takes only a few minutes. I tried a few other smoothie recipes I didn't love a few weeks ago and then I came across this very simple recipe.
All it is is strawberries, blueberries and orange juice. I couldn't believe how good it was and sweet enough without adding any sugar to it. And the best part? It reminds me of my absolute favorite smoothie of all time, Razzmatazz from Jamba Juice.
I had it for breakfast yesterday then put the rest in the freezer. After I went outside and played with Levi we came back in and enjoyed eating the rest. After being in the freezer for a couple of hours it was like a slushy. It was so good. I can't wait to make it again!
Strawberry-Blueberry-Orange Smoothie
Adapted from Robin Miller @ The Food Network
Combine in a blender 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries, ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries and 1 cup orange juice; puree until smooth. Add more orange juice for a thinner consistency and ice if desired.
Note: You can also use peaches and blueberries or raspberries and blueberries.
